Job Summary
Perform various accounting duties of a moderately complex nature in the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of accounting or financial data according to established Accounting and TCC Foundation procedures.
Essential Duties
Maintain data for a variety of accounting ledgers and journals; prepare month end reports, reconcile and analyze financials on assigned accounts.
Monitor daily bank and credit card transactions.
Enter journal entries.
Reconcile Accounts Receivable database to financial database weekly. Reconcile cash accounts monthly.
Process accounts payable invoices.
Prepare year-end analysis of TCC Foundation funds.
Respond to ad hoc requests from administrative and campus staff.
Contribute to accounting process improvement for the TCC Foundation.
Assist in all general accounting and financial reviews of Foundation funds.
Minimum Qualifications
Require Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in Accounting, Business, or related field.
3 years of experience in the Accounting field.
Experience with reconciliation and analysis of accounts; advanced understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
Ability to organize daily work procedures and perform duties under one's own initiative with general supervision.
Ability to interact effectively with others.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
