Lee Enterprises is looking for a Promotions Strategist to join the Lee Promotions team. Lee Promotions provides creative event and online promotion solutions for local publications within Lee Enterprises.
Position Summary:
This is an entry level administrative position that will collaborate with our sales, contest and event teams to set up and manage contests and promotions across 70+ Lee Enterprise Publications. The Promotions Strategist will primarily work in our contesting suite to ensure each program runs smoothly. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, organized and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Position Responsibilities:
- Closely monitor City Wide Ballot programs to ensure compliance and publication success.
- Monitor ticketing queue and incoming fulfillment tickets for upcoming and active promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service to local sales and leadership teams.
- Assist the Promotions Project Managers in analyzing and formatting sales data to highlight advertising opportunities.
- Provide recommendations on how to increase audience engagement.
- Work closely with the Promotions Manager to assist in setting up and coordinating details of custom contests running in Lee Publications.
- Keep up to date with trends and developments within the industry.
- Comfortable using Zendesk, Google Drive, Box, Slack, Zoom and PowerPoint.
- Able to thrive in a remote setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly dependable, and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Leads by example with a willingness to perform all tasks to get a job done.
- Must understand the importance of a team and collaborating with various departments.
