The successful applicant must possess at a minimum, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Hydrogeology, or other related Engineering degree from an accredited Engineering College with emphasis in one or more of the following areas: construction engineering, construction project management, irrigation infrastructure design, hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and design of irrigation infrastructure. Must possess an Engineer Intern (EI) license or ability to acquire in 6 months. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred. Must maintain a current and valid Montana Driver’s License during employment. Must wear Tribal provided safety apparel as required. All applicants are required to submit a Tribal application, copy of relevant transcripts and/or training certificates, a copy of a valid driver’s license, completed background supplemental questionnaire, proof of Tribal enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference a copy of DD214 must be submitted. This is not a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
