WIC Coordinator
WIC Program Coordinator: Do actual good! Join our team here at the Cayuga County Health Department and help local families learn the importance of nutrition, understand the WIC program, and be healthy! Our team connects women, infants, and children to the resources they can benefit from. The Coordinator is responsible for facilitating development, implementation and direction of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program. The Coordinator administers the program and provides liaison between the county's Public Health Department and community-based groups to assist participants in making the most effective use of nutritional services provided in accordance with state and federal regulations. The work is performed under general supervision of the Director of Community Health Services of the Cayuga County Health Department with considerable leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of the work. The Coordinator will provide supervision over professional and clerical staff engaged in program activities. Cayuga County is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
