Interventional Cardiologist: Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic is seeking an interventional cardiologist.

Responsibilities include: Treat a range of heart and vascular conditions using interventional techniques. Use appropriate medical skill to insert a catheter in one of the patient’s major blood vessels. Thread instruments through the patient’s body using the catheter to the problem area, guiding the instruments through the use of real-time x-rays on the forms of imaging. Perform appropriate cardiology procedures on the patient such as balloon angioplasty, opening a patient’s blocked artery by inflating a tiny balloon, and insertion of stents, if required. Select appropriate stents. Repair heart valves via the catheterization process. Implant miniature pacemakers or defibrillators.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate from AMA approved medical school, successful completion of a residency in internal medicine; successful completion of ACGME or AOA approved cardiovascular disease fellowship; and additional fellowship in interventional cardiology required. Board certified within one year of employment in interventional cardiology at Billings Clinic. Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Presently licensed in the State of Montana as a physician or eligible to receive a license. Respondents must be presently eligible for permanent employment in the United States.
